About us

La Cantinetta was born from the passion of four Italians, raised in the Florentine restaurant industry, with a vision to experience typical cuisine, differently.

Our "0 km" philosophy means La Cantinetta's ingredients don't travel. Fresh produce is selected at Florentine markets; our meats and cheeses come from local delicatessens and farms.

Quality is our pride. We serve first-class Chianina (Tuscan beef) as famous Bistecca Fiorentina (thick, Florentine T-bone), tender strip steak, or juicy hamburger; prime Cinta Sinese (Sienese pork) marinated in our secret blend of spices; and original Mortadella di Prato (Pistachio-studded pork cold cuts from Florence's border).

Dishes are prepared daily and personalized by our chef. Desserts are handmade every morning by our own Italian nonna (grandma), Iliana.

All wine served at La Cantinetta is taste-tested by our in-house sommeliers, ready to arrange an array of tastings to your liking, or suggest the perfect pairing for your meal.
